Deleting a Collaborator from a Group

In the event there is a collaborator in your course that you will no longer be collaborating with, you do have the ability to delete the user as a collaborator.

Step 1:

Click on Group Management from the navigation menu.

Group Management button highlighted in purple on the XED platform's sidebar menu, with an arrow pointing to it. Other menu items include Dashboard, Reports, Import Users, and Resources.

Step 2:

Scroll down to your active Group and click Users.

The "USERS" button is highlighted in purple on the "1st Period" group card in XED. The card displays the group key (blurred), learner count (6), end date (June 1, 2024), and group progress at 3%.

Step 3:

Ensure the Collaborators tab is selected. Click on the trash icon next to the Collaborator you want to remove.

The delete icon next to collaborator "Derf Nosnhoj" is highlighted in purple. The "Collaborators" section lists "Fred Johnson" as the instructor and "Derf Nosnhoj" as a collaborator.

Step 4:

Confirm you want to delete the collaborator by pressing the red OK button in the popup window.

A confirmation dialog for deleting a collaborator. It asks, "A collaborator will be deleted, are you sure you want to continue with the process?" with "CANCEL" and "OK" buttons, where "OK" is highlighted in red.

Step 5:

XED will confirm the collaborator has been removed and you will no longer see that user’s name on the Collaborators page.

A green success message displaying "A collaborator has been removed successfully" with a checkmark icon.
