Getting Started with XED as a Learner | Microsoft Office 

 

Step 1:  Open Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint (for this example, Word will be used)




Step 2: From the Home Tab on the Ribbon, click Add-ins



Step 3: Click Get Add-ins or More Add-ins

 

Step 4: Type xperienceed in the search box and click Add.


➤ Note: Typing XED may not bring up the XperiencEd application.

 

 


Step 5: Check the box to agree to the terms & conditions, then click Continue





Step 5: 

The XED Add-in will appear on the sidebar. Scroll down if necessary and click Get Started.


 

Step 6:  If you don't have a username and password, click Register



 

Step 7: Enter the Group Key (activation code) provided by your instructor and click Verify Code



Step 8: Verify your age and click Sign up with Email or Sign up with Username


Step 9: Fill in the information to complete your profile and click Next Step



Step 10: Complete the Security Questions, create a password, and check the box to agree Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. The other 2 checkboxes are optional. 



Step 11: Read and Accept the XperienceED End-User License Agreement and then click Register

 


Step 12: As a confirmation that all steps were completed correctly, you will be informed that you successfully registered. Click Login. 










 














Step 13: You are now ready to begin working in your course.
