XperienceED (XED) 

Learner Accessibility Capabilities 

 

XED is designed inherently to support many learner accessibility options. The CCI Learning courseware team has intentionally developed content to ensure that every learner with the desire to improve proficiency in the use of computers and computer applications has the opportunity to do so. 

 

List below is a summary list of the many accessibility capabilities. 

 

Multiple learning options: 

  • e-Book 
  • Quick Deck – flashcard-based study tool 
  • Quick Clip – video-based study tool for visual learners 
  1. Supports closed captioning, on/off setting 
  2. Options to control speed, playback rate 

Microsoft Immersive Reader tool options: 

  • Text preferences: 
  1. Font size adjustment 
  2. Increase text/word spacing. 
  3. Font options – i.e., Calibri, Comic Sans, etc. 
  4. Themes – background color 
  • Grammar options:

  • Picture dictionary (visual, identification learning)
